  5. Description:    tidy cleans up system log files created by syslogd. For a 
  6.                 system administrator it is a bothersome job to sort out the 
  7.                 interesting (sometimes alarming) entries from a pile of 
  8.                 standard entries. Tidy distinguishes different services 
  9.                 (telnet, finger, etc.) and removes standard entries.
  10.                 Furthermore tidy tries to extract a remote host from the 
  11.                 messages. These remote hosts are added to a statistics 
  12.                 database. The number of contacts of each service is saved 
  13.                 together with the time/date stamp of the last contact. The 
  14.                 statistics can be printed out as simple ASCII or HTML.
